Ready to Make a Difference? Every young person deserves a positive male role model in their life. Will you be that person? We are seeking volunteer mentors to work with young men in the trades and provide support and guidance that will impact their lives. Participants with an interest in welding had the opportunity to tour Ross Mixing, a leading manufacturer of industrial mixing, blending, drying, and dispersion equipment located in Port Saint Lucie. A total of six non-profit organizations, including Project LIFT, led by B.O.T.G. (Building Opportunities Through Golf), collaborated to provide a unique opportunity for 25 inner-city children to attend a professional golf tournament. This excursion introduced these young individuals to a diverse cultural experience. They had the privilege to witness a PGA golf tournament, specifically The Tour Of Champions held in East Lake Atlanta, which holds historical significance as it was established within a Black community in Atlanta. They were also granted the chance to visit the Civil Rights Museum, Coca-Cola Museum, Atlanta Sea Aquarium, and other notable attractions.
