Through its Digital Security Training Project, the Foundation trained over 1,300 journalists globally in 2023, equipping them with essential skills to combat doxxing, cyberattacks, and online harassment. The training, available on a sliding scale, provides encryption tools, secure communication methods, and even document sanitization to protect sensitive information. In 2023, the Foundation expanded its reach with Spanish-language guides and launched a weekly security newsletter, keeping journalists informed on the latest threats and protection strategies.
