About us
Proov offers a suite of diagnostics to provide fertility and menopause insights throughout the entire menstrual cycle. When paired with the free Proov Insight app, Proov's easy, at-home urine tests provide a science-backed fertility coach right in your hand. First, a woman can measure all of the menstrual hormones daily with Proov tests, then snap a photo of each test within the Insight app. Then, a woman can follow the in-app prompts throughout her cycle to understand ovulation status, get daily insights and an Ovulation Insights score. Finally, the app generates a personalized action plan to maximize her wellness or develop a fertility strategy. Proov was founded by Amy Beckley, Ph.D, the "infertile scientist," after three years of infertility and seven miscarriages. Amy applied her own science expertise to uncover a problem with ovulation quality. With help from her doctor and progesterone support, Amy was able to get pregnant with her daughter. Proov is a venture capital backed company and the leader in understanding hormone health on the basis of tracking pregnanediol glucuronide (PdG), a metabolite of progesterone.

On average, women experience perimenopause symptoms for 7-10 years. Today is also my birthday and the 15th anniversary of my first miscarriage (6 more were to follow). 8 years ago I started Proov with one other Mom in my basement, but today I'm joined in this fight by the beautiful and very talented power couple Ashanti and Nelly (and their Proov baby on board - https://lnkd.in/gBDzgNb8). We are also available within 5 minutes to almost every US couple via amazing retail partners Walgreens and CVS Pharmacy. It takes a village, and mine is the BEST a girl could ask for.
