Surrounded by elected officials from the City of Golden, Colorado, the Golden Chamber of Commerce , and trade partners who helped bring the project to life, the 1010 Experience Center held it's official ribbon cutting on Thursday, March 20th. It was a momentous occasion, solidifying 1010's place in the greater Denver community, as well as highlighting it's position as the first and only group-produced CI experience center in the United States. "The official grand opening event for the ProSource 1010 Experience Center was a huge success!" says ProSource CEO Jim Pearse. "We teamed up with the local community, who graciously hosted our membership during their business meetings in Golden, to celebrate this exciting new space. A special thank you goes out to our incredible vendor partners for their unwavering support in bringing this unique Experience Center to life." "1010 proudly showcases cutting-edge technology from the top brands in the Consumer Electronics industry," continues Pearse, and after the ceremony, members of the community were invited to tour the facility, listen to audio demos, and experience the magic that custom integration can bring to a home or business. We are excited to continue welcoming ProSource members, vendor partners, & technology enthusiasts alike to 1010 throughout the year!

Congratulations are in order! Our member Benjamin Larkin from ListenUp was recently appointed by the governor of Colorado to the Colorado State Electrical Board. With this appointment, Larkin will play an instrumental role in the licensing and regulating of Colorado's electricians, apprentices, and electrical contractors.
