A Historic Milestone Worth Celebrating! For the first time in U.S. history, a prison is being transformed into a trade school. While we've seen schools turned into prisons, never before have we witnessed this powerful reversal. We have brought down the Barbwires... We have torn down the dorms, to turn into classrooms... We have turned Visitation area into a sanctuary for the families to meet... Why does this matter? Listen to the attached video... across the country, we have more prisons and jails than colleges... 16 of our states have more prison dorm beds compared to college dorm beds... So this is more than a Trade School - It is a Statement! We've worked tirelessly to transform Anson Correctional into the 5 & 2 Trade School, and now it's time to celebrate this monumental achievement. We invite you to be part of this historic moment. Special Back2School Event inside Lee Correctional. This is one of the largest gathering of families that was hosted in SCDC... Over 150 people, in that room, exchanging the heaviness of their heart and the healing has begun! Often times, we take holding our children for granted, but for these fathers - and their children, it is something very SPECIAL. It was amazing to watch how the children were working dearly with their fathers as they pack the school supplies... not only that, the dads had a chance to bless their children by praying over the safety of the children in the new school year! Blessing of the Father is so important for these children! As the fathers danced with their daughters, there were no dry eyes in the room. The pictures below does NO justice to the electricity we felt in the room. We wish all the children a wonderful School Year, across ALL the 4 states, where we spent packing school supplies!

What an AMAZINNNG Day @ Grafton Correctional... This is the FIRST Time for Proverbs226 in OHIO... The fathers made a very sincere effort to PUT the medicine in the hearts of their children. The DAY was filled with a POWERFUL mix of tears and laughter, each moment a testament to the deep bonds being REBUILT. The prison was SOOO Helpful in making this day Special for these children, especially their Chaplain. The caregivers opened their heart and was Blessed as well. One thing is certain—these CHILDREN will carry the memory of this day for the rest of their lives. Lives Restored and Relationship Mended! A NEW chapter of love and connection was Re-written. The hearts of the fathers were TURNED towards their children, and the heart of the children were TURNED towards their fathers!!
