For 75 years, the New York Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America is one of the oldest, largest, and most prominent public relations Chapters in the country. Located in the media capital of the world, it offers top-level professional development, networking, mentoring, and awards. PRSA-NY serves communications professionals in agencies, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government, as well as independent practitioners. Patrice Tanaka is a serial entrepreneur who co-founded three award-winning PR and marketing firms and now leads Joyful Planet, a Business & Life Strategy Consultancy aimed at helping people live their life’s purpose. She has authored two books: Becoming Ginger Rogers (2011) and Beat the Curve (2016), which she co-authored with renowned management consultant and coach Brian Tracy, along with other business leaders. Before founding Joyful Planet, Patrice was Co-Founder, Chief Counselor, and Creative Strategist at PadillaCRT, the largest employee-owned PR agency in America.
