I had a wonderful time presenting at this year's NRPA Conference in Atlanta, GA. My session focused on debunking the myths of African Americans in the outdoors. I appreciate everyone who was in attendance and provided constructive feedback. I am truly appreciative of the opportunity to going to this conference and presenting. I look forward to attending more.

In honor of Sport and Entertainment Venue Management instructor Dave Olsen, the PRT Department will be hosting the D.O. Memorial Foundation Golf Tournament at Lonnie Poole Golf Course on Monday, October 14th. We are currently seeking student volunteers to help us run the tournament. Volunteers are needed for two shifts -- morning volunteers will help set up and escort players to their holes, afternoon volunteers will help with event breakdown.
