How it feels to realize the ministry potential of tomorrow's tools today

Building in the church tech space? Spend less time reading theological think pieces and listening to self proclaimed AI & the Church “thought leaders” who like to make things complicated in order to sell you their agency services. Instead, talk to tons of pastors and ministry workers and build accordingly. I am not an AI expert. I can’t write a single line of code and the last 18 months have been a crash course in all of this. I’m a church kid who has been obsessed with ministry since I was 16. Most of my life has been spent around pastors and building church. That is the perspective we have taken and it has so much less to do with AI itself and more to do with helping churches solve problems. AI is just the vehicle. What I didn’t do was look at a new (not really) technology and try to invent a problem that needed to be solved. “How could a pastor easily turn their sermon into a weekly newsletter for their church?” That was the single problem we started out trying to solve.
