I’m sometimes asked what we look for when we hire dog walkers, and the #1 thing that our best team members all have in common is that they LOVE dogs. And I know that sounds easy enough—everybody loves dogs. But we’re talking when a dog is leash reactive, when they’re refusing to go outside to pee on a rainy day, when they’re playing hard to get as you’re trying to harness them, when they plop themselves on the sidewalk and refuse to walk any further kind of love. 💕 If you’re the type of person who can love a dog through a “if you can’t handle me at my worst, you don’t deserve me at my best” kind of day and you can roll with the punches, then we want to meet you! This would be a great position for a new entrepreneur who could still use some money and a flexible schedule or a college/grad student who could use a flexible part-time job. We use a scheduling app to provide convenient scheduling and communication with our clients. Our sitters leave an update after each visit along with photos letting pet parents know how their pet is doing. We track our sitters with GPS.
