PurePoint Energy has recently completed the construction of a specially designed roof for inverters, featuring an all-black Maxeon solar modules to blend in with an all black standing seam roof. The solar panels required zero penetrations into the roof except two pass throughs for the electrical work. We built a custom roof for the inverters to keep the weather and sunlight off of them. Utilizing the NRES program for net-metering energy further enhances the system's efficiency.
