About us
The purpose of Pursuing the Dream Foundation is to provide avenue of hope through in-kind and monetary charitable contributions to second thought, underserved communities across America. The foundation is laser focused on empowering communities through our three pillars of pursuit: scholarship, wellness, and investment. The foundation is purposed to shine a much-needed light in areas of neglect and fight against the ever-impending threat of gentrification which erodes the history and culture of our communities, that were built from scraps by people strong people who preserved against all odds.

Fort Worth, Texas, April 23, 2024 - Pursuing the Dream Foundation applauds the Federal Trade Commission for its landmark decision to ban nearly all noncompete agreements, a critical move toward promoting economic freedom and empowering workers. These agreements have long stifled innovation and limited job mobility, hindering individuals' ability to pursue their career aspirations freely. We commend the FTC for prioritizing fairness and competition in the labor market. However, we are deeply dismayed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's decision to oppose this important measure. By vowing to fight against this moment of true economic freedom and liberty, the Chamber undermines the principles of fairness and equity. We urge the Chamber to reconsider its position and stand in support of policies that prioritize worker rights and promote a more dynamic and inclusive economy. Pursuing the Dream Foundation remains committed to advocating for policies that empower individuals to pursue their dreams and contribute to economic innovation. We call on all stakeholders to join us in supporting measures that promote fairness, competition, and opportunity for all workers.
