My life changed on September 12, 2019. That's the day my son, Asher, passed away two days shy of 4 months old. Life changes often, but sometimes, it changes in such a monumental way that you cannot look at or do your life in the same way. I don’t share this for pity. In fact, we have been very private about my family’s journey as we’d prefer the opposite. But recently, I’ve felt led to share Asher’s story because he changed my world (and many others’ lives) in his short time - and maybe it can help more. Gulfshore Business Magazine recently did a follow-up on 40 Under 40 recipients, of which I’m proud to be included (circa 2010). I am one of six alums whose “Where Are They Now” that they published in this month’s edition. It is my hope that what Asher taught me may inspire you to live your life well, too. Love your people.
