Hi, Is it me, or are there new questions about what's authentic, legitimate and even sincere out there because of GenAI? We've all seen the suggestions on using GenAI prompts to ask questions, create insights, and develop content. Recently, a marketer presented an elaborate methodology for developing content via a string of prompts, and content input structure to us. The results are interesting, and they open up several other questions. Should I now assume that when I read a post on LinkedIn from a person they didn't actually write it? Was the person who used prompts to create the content an expert in the topic or using the prompts? If they weren't an expert in the content, how "confident" are they in terms of the believability of the actual message being conveyed? If I act on what I read and it's wrong, perhaps causing harm where does liability be accounted for? Really, my question now opens into the governance domain: how does "authenticity or sincerity" now factor into an operating governance model? Fwiw, no, I didn't click the "Rewrite with AI" button at the bottom of this post.
