My biggest competitor is good enough. But that's true for all software companies — 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝟕 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬: ↳ Apollo.io is good enough until you've tried Octave ↳ Lucidchart is good enough until you've tried Puzzle ↳ Gmail is good enough until you've tried Superhuman. ↳ Linkedin Inbox is good enough until you've tried Kondo. ↳ Copy & paste is good enough until you've tried TextExpander ↳ Taking meeting notes is good enough until you've tried Otter.ai ↳ Google Sheets for KPIs is good enough until you've tried Baremetrics When someone says, "ah Lucidchart is just fine for process documentation." It shows me how fast they will get beat in the next 5-10 years. Not because one tool will make a difference But a complacent mindset will. Stay curious, friends! 👉 Tag your favorite game-changing tool in comments so everyone else reading can get better together! 🙏

I announced Puzzle's new Entities & Attributes feature in my post yesterday. It's where your process diagrams meets your data model in a relational database to create documentation that *actually* helps you understand how your systems work. Here are just a few ways you can use it: — Document 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐬 at specific steps — Visualize 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬 across automations — Plan 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 across systems 👇 If you want to learn more, check out the feature drop post here 👇 https://lnkd.in/ebh8rtMH

Game changing feature 👏 Easily track how your fields, endpoints and properties are related to process automations in Puzzle!

Making changes to your systems feels risky (with shitty documentation). Adjust one field, and suddenly, a dozen automations break... It’s like finding a needle in a haystack to understand how everything is connected. But it does not have to be that way. 👉 Puzzle's Entity & Attributes feature changes that. ✅ 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦. 🧩 Now, you can see exactly where every system field connects to your processes. No more guesswork. Just a clear view of potential risks before you make data model changes. It'll save you time debugging errors and help you build confidence in the future. 🎥 Watch the video to learn exactly how the feature set works!

Processes can get complex, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞. This feature in Puzzle makes 𝐝𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐱 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲. 👉 It's called the 𝐆𝐨-𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 — it acts as a bounce step allowing you to seamlessly link different parts of your process documentation, no matter how far apart they are. ❌ The old way using Lucid, Miro, or Whimsical, is using letters 'A', 'B', 'C' to show how processes relate, but it's a game of letter Sudoku trying to understand it 😂 🤕 Stop settling for the old way. 🧩 It's time to modernize your visual documentation. 🎥 Watch this video to see this game-changing feature at work!

These tool round-ups are getting out of hand... 😵💫 It looks like I kicked an ant hill and software tools ran out... 🐜 But, the truth is 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫. All these new automation and AI agent tools are 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. If you don't adapt, you will get dusted by your competition. So the question becomes... 👉 How do you get 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭? The best way is with a visual diagram... But then I see these diagrams from Lucidchart, and yikes 🥴 🚩 These 𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 than they resolve — and if your diagrams are confusing and unreliable, the longer it will take to operationalize new tech. To operationalize modern tools fast, you need powerful, dynamic and synced visual documentation: 1️⃣ To quantify the cost savings of each tool. 2️⃣ To sync with your no-code systems to keep your docs updated 3️⃣ To navigate a structured database of your people, process and tools. 4️⃣ To go beyond swim lanes and connect your diagrams with team design. 5️⃣ To combine your visual diagram & your written documentation in one place. 🧩 Puzzle does all five, and more. 👉 You'll create diagrams that make documenting complex processes easy, which makes operationalizing new tech a breeze. Then all these new tools that scare you right now will become your company's operational advantage 🫡
