Q39 was honored with seven amazing awards for service in our Industry by the Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association. ( Yes!!! our BBQ isn’t the only thing that's awesome!!) I was completely surprised and beyond humbled to receive the Human Resources Director of the Year award, especially since it comes from my peers nomination. This recognition reflects the trust we've built in our workplace, where respect, collaboration, and appreciation are at the forefront. I believe true success lies in empowering everyone to be their best selves, and I am grateful to be part of a team that values these principles. What an amazing night on the farm! We partnered with Cultivate KC and Brien Darby to put together a fun night under the stars at Juniper Gardens. Our culinary (Philip Thompson ) and catering ( John Beddall ) teams executed a truly special night showcasing the farms incredible produce. One of our beliefs at Q39 is that everything on our menu should be just as high quality as our BBQ. So we are excited to roll out our fall menu in a few weeks with some great new items including a Q Caesar Wedge Salad, Corn Fritters, Q’Ban Sandwich and my personal favorite - Sticky Toffee Cake, a throwback to my English roots.
