Meet Dan Vega, our Sr. EPC Sales Director. Dan has almost thirty-five years of marketing and sales experience in the electric utility industry. He began his career with ABB selling medium voltage distribution and substation equipment. From there, he moved to Thomas & Betts to market and sell steel transmission pole structures. After twenty years selling and marketing electrical products, Dan decided to move into services. He spent almost ten years with PLH Group selling power delivery services to the electric utility industry before moving to Blue Ridge Power to sell renewable EPC services. We're pleased to have him as a member of our team! .... #Question: What factors do you consider most critical when closing large-scale EPC contracts in the renewable energy sector? #Answer: Most utility-scale customers consider three key factors when selecting an EPC services provider. First is safety—absolutely critical, as safety incidents can severely impact a client’s reputation. Second is financial stability—clients want assurance that their EPC provider has the financial strength to complete large-scale projects without issues. Finally, the quality of execution is essential—delivering high-quality work across civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes is crucial to the success of any solar project.

New Episode: Resilience Vodcast In the latest episode of Resilience, I had the opportunity to sit down with Kevin Yaich, Head of M&A at Qcells USA Corp., to discuss The Solar M&A Landscape. Kevin shares his expertise and perspective on the trends and challenges currently shaping the solar market. Key Takeaways: -- The market is leaning toward a buyer’s market, driven by rising capital costs, regulatory uncertainties, and strategic adjustments by developers and Independent Power Producers (IPPs). -- Timing and contract alignment are critical in renewable energy projects. The opportunity lies in managing risks related to interconnection agreements, equipment, and offtake arrangements. Thank you, Kevin Yaich, for sharing your insights on the future of solar M&A. #Resilience#SolarEnergy #M&A#Renewables
