One of the biggest threats to healthcare organizations might not be the risk of change itself, but the consequences of inaction. #HealthcareHR leaders are asked to manage their workforce and improve the employee experience while minimizing risks. And though the healthcare workforce is extremely complex, organizations still choose not to invest in new workforce management solutions due to fear of failure. Join us on November 12 at 2:00 pm ET to learn more about the dangers of sticking with the status quo, how to overcome risk aversion, and which innovative workforce management strategies have worked for other organizations. You won’t want to miss this valuable conversation with an HR leader SSM Health, and former HR leader from Oregon Health and Science University. https://lnkd.in/ew5XZQPG

Optimizing patient throughput has long been a top priority for healthcare organizations, but now it is critical - for both mission and margin. Effective capacity management, starting in ambulatory settings, is pivotal to improved operational efficiency, patient outcomes, and clinician and staff experience. Operational leaders in ambulatory service lines need to be bold in their efforts to optimize resources including clinicians, staff, and space. Join us and marcus evans Group for a webinar next Tuesday, November 12, to discuss strategies to advance and grow ambulatory services, and tackle the resource constraint challenges. We'll also go through how to plan for uninterrupted patient service, and how to improve the clinician and staff experience. Don't miss this important discussion. To kick off #MSPWeek, we wanted to go through how we've gotten to where we are today with credentialing. Here's a brief history: Lawsuits in the mid-20th century (such as Darling v. Charleston Community Memorial Hospital and Johnson v. Misericordia Community Hospital) began to hold the medical community responsible for substandard care and negligence. Another lawsuit, this time in 2004 (Garland v. Rose) held that a hospital's credentialing activities are "an inseparable part of the medical services received by patients" and introduced ongoing professional practice evaluation for continuous quality oversight. Today, standards organizations like NCQA and have further emphasized the importance of ongoing monitoring and quality improvement. With the rise of digital tech, credentialing is now more efficient and accurate, so organizations can use solutions to ensure compliance and excellence. Where do you think credentialing will go next? #HealthcareCredentialing #HealthcareInnovation

Making the decision on a software solution for your organization is no small feat. Not only are you deciding on the product, but also the vendor. You’ll want to select a technology partner that can meet your solution requirements, and will come alongside your organization to ensure success. For an informed evaluation process, we suggest following these best practices: 1. Seek vendors with experience in large-scale software deployment and support 2. Look for a solution to your specific challenges, instead of just a one-size-fits-all product 3. Choose a partner — not just a vendor 4. Make workflow integration non-negotiable, so the new solution can fit seamlessly into your existing #HealthcareIT ecosystem 5. Prioritize #TechSustainability to make sure the solution can grow with your organization Have you found these steps to be helpful? Let us know!
