Michael Walach has developed and patented the first true multifocal lens concept, the Natural Accommodation Lens, also known as NAL®. Consequently, Mr. Walach granted an exclusive global license to our company for the purpose of global proliferation of NAL®. The team of QLDS experts created a digital freeform lens design platform to enable mass reproduction of that concept. A revolutionary solution aimed to better life of Progressive Addition Lens ( aka PAL ) wearers became reality. The OmniLux® - World’s 1st NAL® lens has been developed in house and is available globally to optical labs capable of digital freeform production technology. This is possible thanks to seven-year long development effort focused to create a unique cloud based Lens Design System that allows virtually instant remote integration with any Lab Management System.
