Florida Organic Growers is excited to announce that we are accepting applications for the 2024 USDA Organic Certification Cost Share Program (OCCSP)! Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited funding, with a deadline to apply by October 31, 2024. Join Florida Organic Growers from 10am - 2pm on Oct 10th for an informative session on marketing your Organic products and crops. During this workshop, learn about key organic practices and marketing strategies for fruits and vegetables presented by Ben McLean III of McLean Family Farms. Learn about the benefits of organic farming and how it can enhance the viability of your farming business. This workshop is designed for both beginner and intermediate level farmers to gain knowledge of a wide variety of practices and strategies that have been used for over 20 years by McLean Family Farms. An overview of approved materials and a demonstration of methods will be provided.  This is a free event! Registration is required.
