Last week, our Tee (Terisa) Thomas and Mike Crowley went 50 meters down and 1 mile into the belly of Lisbon, Portugal, to explore the city’s “unbelievably cool" water infrastructure. Lisbon’s leadership is deeply committed to clean water and expanding green space, which is why they are exploring new opportunities for green stormwater infrastructure to complement the city's investments in grey infrastructure. We’re excited to work with Mayor Carlos Moedas, city leaders, Bloomberg Associates, and others on feasibility analysis for a potential performance-based environmental impact bond to expand Lisbon's green stormwater infrastructure. Our Alison Rein (She/Her), Managing Director and Ana Koerner enjoyed their recent trip to San Francisco to meet in-person with our partners Curry Senior Center. We're working alongside their amazing team to design and make a plan to sustainably support a Recuperative Care (aka medical respite) program for older adults in the city who are experiencing housing insecurity / homelessness. This is one example of our work with community-based organizations throughout California via the CalAIM PATH technical assistance marketplace!
