We're thrilled to announce another industry milestone! Quantum LeapX has completed its 5th successful "over-motor" hop, achieving an incredible 118 ft transmission distance at 166 bits/second, this one coupled with Halliburton's iCruise rotary steerable system. In the Delaware Basin of West Texas, our Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) completed the 29,014 ft well, enabling our customer to position the MWD system above the motor. This setup optimized motor power to the RSS/bit and significantly reduced the shock and vibration typically endured by the MWD below the motor in these applications.
