Today, #Quindar is excited to announce a strategic investment by Booz Allen Hamilton Ventures. Our collaboration aims to enhance space domain awareness through AI-enabled satellite operations and aligns perfectly with our mission to revolutionize space operations by democratizing access to space. Together, we are poised to accelerate our mission to increase security, automation, and access to unified data for commercial and federal clients. Exciting times ahead! 🚀
#BoozAllen's corporate venture capital arm, Booz Allen Ventures, LLC, announced its 10th and most recent strategic investment in Quindar, to automate satellite operations, and advance #space domain awareness. This investment is aligned with our VoLT business strategy—centered on velocity, leadership, and technology. It also highlights the urgency of integrating mission-critical technologies across the space domain to increase awareness, security, automation, and data collection for decision advantage on a global scale. https://lnkd.in/g3nybTJv

Thrilled to be on the Emergent podcast with Adam Judelson! We discussed a critical question: Why are companies still building custom mission operations software in-house? The answer? Legacy processes! It's what "worked" for decades. But with scale, costs, hybrid architectures, and cyber threats, it's no longer sustainable. Quindar isn't different because we create workflows in the cloud for satellite operations, we are different because we see a new problem entirely. At the end of the day, customer's and companies just want their data. Satellites are flying servers in space and we enable their uptime so customers can access and receive their data. Listen to how we are solving and approaching this concept!

NEW EPISODE 🎙: Want to know how to automate satellite operations? This week we hear from Nate Hamet 🛰, the co-founder and CEO of Quindar - an aerospace startup redefining spacecraft operations with a SaaS offering that manages satellites like servers in a data center. Nate started his career building and launching billion-dollar government satellites at Lockheed Martin and later joined OneWeb as an early engineer focusing on broadband satellites. At OneWeb, Nate met his five other co-founders who helped build the software to operate the world's first mega satellite constellation. Here’s what you’ll learn: - The product challenges that arise from managing satellite constellations that must maintain orbit and make regular contact with the ground in spite of temperamental connectivity and antiquated hardware. - How Quindar has tackled the jobs of dozens of highly paid engineers and astrodynamics experts in one multi-module product. - Quindar's approach of treating satellites as flying servers, abstracting the complexity of different satellite types and operating systems, similar to traditional IT management, but in a cutting-edge discipline. - How a team of six cofounders jointly built conviction for the same product solving the same problems and achieved product-market-fit. - How they decided to start with commercial sales instead of government ones. - How Nate balances using AI for autonomy while protecting safety, and his views on Starlink. Let me know your thoughts in the comments... Podcast: https://lnkd.in/gv76bhbR Youtube: https://lnkd.in/gXcumiEM Spotify: https://lnkd.in/gxmztKYd

Thrilled to see Quindar recognized by Bain Capital Ventures and Headline in the Vertical SaaS 50! Space needs more software utilities. Looking forward to more integrations across the industry!
Today, Bain Capital Ventures and Headline recognize 50 emerging vertical SaaS companies with our second annual Vertical SaaS 50! 🏭 We continue to see founders building in fragmented industries that are heavily document based: Once again, we had strong company representation in architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) with the likes of BuildVision, Trayd, Trunk Tools and XBuild, as well as in logistics, with Axle, Boon, Cargado and Pallet. This year, we saw more companies building in professional services with Eve, Garden, and Materia AI, financial services with Rogo and Zocks, and government with Forage and Polimorphic. ✨ Advancements in AI have unsurprisingly unlocked many vertical SaaS capabilities: Companies like Bolo AI offer an AI-powered knowledge platform for oil & gas, MagicSchool AI provides K-12 teachers with a co-pilot and Norm Ai uses AI agents to take care of regulatory compliance. Taylor Brandt and I are excited to hear from you! If you are building a vertical SaaS company or have recommendations for our 2025 list please reach out to us directly.
