We had a blast at our first Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School draft day! Looking forward to having 4 students join us for work-study this year!

Every quarter, we proudly recognize excellence by awarding the RaceTrac Way Champ award to an outstanding member of our store team. This quarter, from our Dallas-Fort Worth Region, we are excited to celebrate Aaron Eckhoff!! Aaron is the General Manager of one of our newest Travel Centers at store #2641 Texarkana, Texas. He has opened two new travel centers in the past year in Texas and invested countless hours meticulously training his new teams before their opening days.  Excerpts from Justin’s nominations: “He always makes sure his staff is taken care of and that everyone gets the best training. Every quarter we celebrate excellence through our RaceTrac Way Champ awards. Our Q2 award for the Store Support Center goes to Justin Hoenstine! Justin is the HR Operations Team Lead and received multiple RaceTrac Way Champ nominations with overwhelming sentiments that he puts people first and exhibits a humble attitude.  Excerpts from Justin’s nominations: “Justin never hesitates to go above and beyond for anyone who needs it. He is constantly looking to improve processes and encourage collaboration among any group he works with.” “Justin is a great leader who respects his team, cares about inclusion and team bonding. Each year on July 24, the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) Foundation recognizes law enforcement, first responders and others who work around the clock to keep our communities safe.   As a small token of our appreciation, RaceTrac packed gift boxes with swag, snacks, coupons and newly minted RaceTrac-emblazoned challenge coins—designed in thanks and appreciation to our partner law enforcement agencies—to share with seven select departments that serve RaceTrac communities. We’re deeply thankful for the partnerships we share with local law enforcement agencies and the crucial role they play in safeguarding our stores and our guests all day, every day. It was an honor to extend this small thank-you gesture for all that they do to keep our communities safe! If you are or have a first responder in your life, we’d love to say thank you. First responders are invited into any RaceTrac location, anytime, for a free coffee or fountain drink. Police, fire and EMT simply bring their badge or swing by in uniform to redeem this offer. This offer is good at all 580+ RaceTrac stores, 365 days a year.

Just look at these summer camp cuties! Through our partnership with Atlanta United FC, we teamed up for some extra summertime fun; Atlanta United Summer Camps support youth players looking to develop in a fun and exciting environment with professionally licensed and qualified staff. It’s been a great summer of soccer and we hope to see you again next year!

Round 3 of meet the interns! This year we have 7 awesome Bulldogs from The University of Georgia; Sophia Masson, Marc Saul, Garrett Plumlee, Saxen Burt, Vaughn McCavey, Khushi Isani and Jackson Cross! We're so thrilled to have you spending your internship at the 'trac!

Last month, we celebrated our 2022 and 2023 Chairman’s Council winners with a sun-soaked getaway to Atelier Playa Mujeres in Playa Mujeres, Mexico. This trip honors our top-performing General Managers and Operations Supervisors for their embodiment of the RaceTrac Way and commitment to making the lives of our guests and store team members simpler and more enjoyable. Our winners enjoyed five fun-filled days enjoying the sand and surf of the beautiful beaches of Cancun, getting the chance to mix, mingle and have fun with their peers and leaders. One of the biggest highlights of the trip was the announcement of the Carl Bolch, Jr. award winners – an award that recognizes outstanding team members who go above and beyond their call of duty. Join us in congratulating our 2022 winner, Lillie Broussard, OS, from Louisiana Area 1, and our 2023 winner, naija miller, GM, at RT #2399 Remington Road in East Florida!
