Fundraising Consultant | Helping established nonprofits with their planned giving, capital campaigns, major gifts, boards, and solicitation trainings.

👋 What's on your to-do list today? Here are a few on mine: ✅ Go to PO Box ✅ Research restaurants for upcoming vacation ✅ Pick up prescription ✅ Follow up with Client A and Client B after the meetings ✅ Figure out a new strategy with Mailchimp ✅ Send proposal to Prospect C ✅ Buy baby gift for a friend's new baby (six months later...) Do you notice what is not on this list? ❌ Read a nonprofit's (that I personally support) emails ❌ Double check if I personally donated to that nonprofit this year ❌ Spend lots of time considering how much to give to that nonprofit I REALLY care about Does this resonate with you too? Perhaps it could be the same for your donors. And yet, we forget that reading our emails, donating to our organization, and contemplating for long periods of time how much to give are not their top priorities. They're probably nowhere on their lengthy to-do lists. And yes... 🔹 You still have a job to do. 🔹 You have revenue goals to hit. 🔹 Your organization still needs the resources to operate and thrive. So what to do? Join me next week for a FREE webinar! 🎁 Wrap It Up Right: Year-End Fundraising Tips to Exceed Your Goals 🗓 Date: Monday, October 21, 2024 ⏰ Time: 3:00pm CT 🔗 RSVP Here: https://lnkd.in/gcrGj8Gk If you can't join the webinar live, RSVP anyway, and we'll make sure you get the recording. AND access to a special bonus 🎁: a complimentary 30-minute strategy session. So register now!

Hey folks - job alert! Since my Day 1 Jannah M. joined UW, I've heard outstanding things from her and met more and more fabulous folks from the team as time has gone on. I have been especially impressed by the care UW takes for its students, which is sadly not as common as I'd like to see in higher ed. This is such a cool opportunity to lead their annual giving enterprise - take a look!

Nonprofit Fundraising Consultant | Guiding small nonprofits to reach their fundraising goals with strategic and implementation support

I'm excited to expand my team this Fall by adding another fundraiser who can support my fractional client orgs with implementation. The role is perfect for someone looking for a part-time fundraising role that is highly flexible and remote - this may be best suited for someone in a caregiving role or other circumstance that doesn't sync up with a full-time hustle. If you fit this description (or know someone who does), please check out the role! - A few years of direct experience fundraising (2-3 years minimum but also willing to chat to folks more senior) - Has a heart for working with small orgs - Possesses a high degree of initiative; values transparency and clear expectations - Must be comfortable adapting to new technologies - we are digital-first team that leans into innovation and enthusiastically experiments with Ai - Should have availability for 10-15 hours per week and, if interested, there is the possibility of expanding the role to a 20-30hr week and beyond - Can be Canada or U.S. based

How are you celebrating or participating in Black Philanthropy Month this August? One way to get involved and learn more is to read this book! Gospel of Giving is a fascinating book. One thing I've enjoyed learning about in this history of Black women's giving was the usage of all kinds of gifts - time, talent, treasure, testimony, ties - and even more beyond how we usually define philanthropy, like social entrepreneurship. There are so many ways to make an impact or give and there is much to learn from these examples as fundraisers or donors.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to help the team reimagine their annual giving efforts during an exciting time of new leadership for the division. Things to know about CPP: - There are Arabian Horses on campus! CPP is home to the almost 100 year-old Kellogg Arabian Horse Center. - There's so much experiential learning on campus! Between a farmstand where you can purchase fresh produce grown right on campus, a teaching brewery, and an entire hotel and events center - students do and learn. - Cal Poly Pomona is the No. 1 polytechnic university in the nation for diversity and economic mobility.
