Read below to learn more about their experiences! Max: “This summer, I worked with the Loup Logistics team to develop a container tracking application. I really enjoyed building the full-stack application to provide real time vision on containers, along with learning more about intermodal transportation. Outside of developing, I enjoyed spending time with the other interns at various intern events and am fortunate to have made a lot of great memories with some amazing people at Union Pacific.” Drew: "At Union Pacific I was able to work with the Network Engineering team to help build tools that help engineers communicate with our trains. My favorite part was getting to learn all about network topologies and their purpose in applications." #UNL #RaikesSchool

I’m fortunate to have made a lot of great memories with really amazing people at Hudl.” Lena Lankas - “My main project this summer as a product manager intern at Hudl was Setter Tendencies, a new report for volleyball! I owned the feature from discovery to delivery, learning a lot from the different departments along the way. I love the big picture thinking and cross-departmental collaboration the role requires. This entire experience made me more confident in my path and potential as a product manager and I can’t wait to return next summer!” Sam Wallenburg - “I had a wonderful time working at Hudl as a Quality Analyst intern this summer! • This summer #Cohort2022 Lily Rippeteau and #Cohort2023 Riddhi Munjewar interned at Conagra Brands. Read below to learn more about their experiences! Lily: I worked as a Data Management Intern, meaning I managed all the data about Conagra’s products for online retail. This meant working with Amazon, Walmart, etc. to ensure their websites have accurate product information, as well as managing Conagra’s internal database. I also developed a tool to analyze the health of our database and flagged issues for faster fixes. Conagra’s internship was well-structured and provided ample opportunities for mentorship. I was also satisfied with Conagra’s commitment to inclusivity and good company culture, which went beyond buzzwords into genuine actions. Riddhi: This summer I worked as an IT Analytics Intern in the Enterprise Reporting Team. Specifically, I worked with Streamlit developing applications using Python to help visualize data from Snowflake (one of Conagra’s data warehouses). Conagra has such a unique culture, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds and skill sets to help you learn and succeed in your areas of interest. One thing that really stood out to me was how approachable everyone was, regardless of their department. Throughout the summer, there were plenty of intern events that not only helped us build strong friendships but also gave us a deeper understanding of the company as a whole.

  • SENIOR SPOTLIGHTS 2024: Joshua Madsen, Trinity Mozingo, Blake Branvold We asked these seniors: Why should a prospective student come to Nebraska and the Raikes School? ~~~ Joshua said: “The Raikes School is an incredibly tight-knit community where it is so easy to form lasting friendships. You are surrounded by a group of students who are experiencing many of the same things and are always willing to help. Nebraska as a whole offers so many opportunities to get involved in your passions and it is hard to beat the excitement of Husker gameday. You have all the benefits of the small community of the Raikes School and the resources of a large university.”  ~~~ Trinity said: “Nebraska and the Raikes School provide such an amazing experience! You are able to find strong community and friendships with a diverse group of peers. Not only do you have quality classes at the Raikes School, but the connections that the school has with companies helps you to grow in networking and career connections. ” ~~~ Blake said: “The Raikes School is such a unique opportunity to pursue both technical and non-technical disciplines that have both become so important in the tech industry but haven’t yet merged in education. You also become a member of a very unique and helpful community.” ~~~ We’ve loved having these seniors around the past four years, and we’re so excited to see all that they are able to accomplish in the next phase of their journeys! #UNL #RaikesSchool #SeniorSunday
