🚆✨ Rail Safety Week: Stay Alert, Stay Safe! ✨🚆 This week, we’re shining a spotlight on rail safety! 🚦 Whether you're a passenger, pedestrian, or cyclist, your safety is the priority. Here are some essential tips to keep in mind: 1. Always Look & Listen: Train tracks are no place to be distracted. Stay aware of your surroundings! 2. Obey Signals: Respect all signs and signals at crossings. They’re there to keep you safe! 3. Never Rush: Trains can come at any time. Take your time at crossings and wait for the signal. 4. Stay Off the Tracks: Only cross at designated areas. Tracks are for trains, not for walking. Let’s work together to keep our communities safe! Share your rail safety tips in the comments below! 🚉💬 #RailSafetyWeek #StaySafe #TrainSmart

Yesterday RailWorks had the distinct honor to celebrate three major infrastructure upgrade projects to the Quonset Business Park's rail system, operated by Seaview Railroad. These infrastructure upgrades were funded by the historical Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). RailWorks delivered track upgrades for the Seaview Engine House, Davisville Main Connector, and Mill Creek Rail Yard to improve freight rail capacity and increase Quonset's capacity for business growth and job creation. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Federal Rail Administrator Amit Bose, U.S. Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse, U.S. Congressman Seth Magaziner and Gabe Amo, Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee, and Commerce Secretary Elizabeth M. Tanner, Esq. Thank you Quonset Development Corporation for your partnership and holding this celebration!
