About us
RainIons technology cleans the air via a unique combination of negative ions and precipitation. This new technology breakthrough replicates the way Mother Nature cleans the air, but instead of transferring the pollution from the air to the ground and water, the pollution will be captured inside the system so it can be completely eliminated from the environment. A feasibility study determined the patented innovation could reduce airborne pollutants by 99%, including Particulate Matter (PM) 2.5 and smaller, and CO2.

We at RainIons are grateful and honored to be showcased in Kearney recommended list of startups to corporations wishing to meet their sustainability goals. "With point-source carbon capture methods more technologically and financially advanced than direct air capture, start-ups like RainIons stand out. RainIons is leveraging material science breakthroughs for a durable coating technology made from naturally reactive materials that break apart CO2, NOX, and other GHG molecules passing through tailpipes, mufflers, flumes, generators, boilers, and so on, to release cleansed exhaust. " We look forward to continuing our journey together to merge sustainability and profitability ! https://lnkd.in/gFm7J4mb #sustainability #carboncapture #exhaust #pointsource #decarbonization #airpollution

Partner, Kearney | Global Lead-Sustainability & Social Impact Leadership, Change & Organization Expert;
I had a wonderful time diving deeper into sustainability-related topics at the Kearney Future of Supply Chain event with my panelists Sylvia Wilks, Hélène Thibieroz, and Dave Mullen. Despite the challenges that limit Scope 3 data and the complexity of reporting and standards present, I am constantly inspired by how these leaders are focused on the upsides for consumers, businesses, and investors as we create a more sustainable world. Other key themes of our discussion included: We provided examples of how teams can exemplify the power of aligning sustainable supply chain and product models with corporate culture and consumer demand Our conversation highlighted the human side of sustainability. For example, getting more people outdoors is not only good for business but good for our collective mental health Start-ups are not only developing the technology to address GHG emissions, but they are also reinventing business models so that being sustainable means generating revenue and profit for investors Our panel also emphasized the crucial role investors can play in channeling capital into these models, uplifting sustainable innovators, and supporting supply chains to scale Thank you again for our great conversation at the event!

Last week, our CTO Mark Banash at RainIons attended Princeton's Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment's conference on decarbonizing the iron, steel, and cement industries. Our attendance was part of our company's effort to extend its greenhouse gas mitigation technology to customers in both these industries and the power generation systems that support them. We discovered from such potential customers that their CO2 reduction needs fit well with RainIons' capabilities, and we plan to work with the Princeton Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment faculty to do the supporting technical analyses. Special thank you note to Barry Rand for his help guiding us through the process and looking forward to our next steps. #decarbonization #carbon #heavyindustries #airpollution #lowtech #energytransition #circulareconomy
