We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for helping make Under Review Twin Cities a tremendous success! This event is a rare occasion when we can gather with our donors, scholars, families, and friends all under one roof. It’s an evening that everybody from Raise The Barr cherishes. From marveling at some of the sketch artist's drawings to learning about the Perfect Pairings inspiring our community, and hearing Camila share her inspiring story as a single-parent student, the evening was truly memorable. Minnesota Families! In 1 month, The Family Partnership collectively with Raise The Barr and the Minnesota Vikings will be hosting a free Community Resource Fair on Lake Street in Minneapolis! The resource fair is Saturday, August 17th from 10AM - 2PM. Attend the Community Resource Fair for a day of family fun! We’ll have a bounce house, outdoor games, face painting, sidewalk chalk, live music, and yoga. Lunch will be provided by the MN Viking food truck. While you’re there, stop in and connect with community partners and non-profits offering FREE resources such as housing assessments, HIV/AIDS testing, employment coaching, 2 and 4-year college applications and mentors, clothing, food and groceries, legal resources, free books and library cards, mental health resources, and resources for the LGBTQ+ community! Meet Kayla H. Kayla is a Raise The Barr vet who’s currently pursuing her degree in business administration and works as a doula to support her and her family.
