Raleigh Rotary meets every Monday at 12:15 PM at the Tobacco Road Cafe, 505 W. Jones Street, Raleigh, NC 27603. The Raleigh Rotary Club is not only the oldest Rotary club in North Carolina, chartered in 1914, it is the first civic organization in the state. Rotary's motto, Service Above Self, is evident in service projects such as Wake Smiles Dental Clinic, Trees Across Raleigh, sponsorship of the Boys & Girls Home at Lake Waccamaw, the fight to eradicate polio worldwide and many others.

Past President Kirk Warner shared memories of club member and legal legend Robert McMillan at this week's meeting. At age 100, Robert packed life into every day and embodied Rotary's Service Above Self. Sending love to his family.
