  • ☀ Solar x Robotics 🤖   When you go to a solar farm today, there’s a good chance you'll cross paths with a robot. The robotics ecosystem in solar includes air and ground robots, mowing bots, panel cleaners, self-adjusting trackers, and more - all working to make sites safer and run smoother. This is especially true when all of them are connected and controlled singularly from the Raptor Solar digital twin. Meet one of the newest robots connected to the Raptor Solar digital twin:   Field testing for solar-specific uses has successfully wrapped for the Husky Observer - a rugged and mighty ground robot made by Clearpath Robotics by Rockwell Automation. Powerful Canadian technology, now ready for solar. #solar #robotics #automation

  • Raptor Maps is excited to add 🏗 Construction Monitoring to our library of autonomous drone dock integrations, allowing solar asset owners, developers, and EPCs to monitor, validate, and manage construction progress on a more frequent cadence. Through Raptor Solar Sentry, you can install and operate autonomous drone docks that reside on-site, providing a powerful means of flexibly and remotely collecting and analyzing data at any phase of the solar project - be it a regular monitoring inspection or an ad-hoc investigation mission. The Construction Monitoring integration enables Raptor Solar Sentry customers to schedule remote data collection missions, verify progress with actual installation counts, and proactively identify delays and quality issues. All data and resulting analytics is stored in a centralized, clean system of record - the Digital Twin - so that no context is lost during the handoff to operations. The autonomous drone can remain on-site throughout the life of the solar asset and operated using an extensive library of Sentry integrations, such as: substation inspections, alert investigations, erosion monitoring, and more. 💡 Interested in learning more?
