If you didn't know, now you know. 👀 Quick steel deck framing tip from Ravin Builders: "I definitely figured this one out the hard way after driving in our first couple hundred steel joists with a mallet.. This is the simple yet effective code to sliding the joist in tight without having to wrestle them in. The S-ledger and joist bracket comes with either 12” or 16” Oc layout pre punched and you just knock the brackets in from the back and bolt it to the wall with structural screws or lags. Slide the joists in and put a screw in either side and you’re done. This system can support up to a 200 lb. per sq. ft. load depending on joist span."
