Staff aboard the brand new MSC World America cruise ship began their operator training last week which included the all-important emergency takedown, shown here. MSC World America is schedule to take its maiden voyage out of Miami this April. RCI teams have been busy on board finishing up its custom 2-level Sky Trail® course, complete with 2 Sky Rail® ziplines. The course is located in the Family Aventura District, one of seven unique districts aboard the ship. We don't just build the world's best ropes courses. Our installation team ran into a little snowy weather, which is to be expected, while installing a 2-level Sky Trail® course for our friends at Boondocks Food & Fun in Kaysville, UT, located about 20 miles north of Salt Lake City. RCI employees got to spend some time yesterday experiencing our operator training. Every operator of a Sky Trail® course goes through a 2-day training session, including testing. Yesterday's training gave RCI's team a high-level overview of what goes into the operation of a course including harnessing, safety protocols, inspections and emergency takedowns. #training #ropescourse #safetyfirst

At 208 feet in length, the Sky Rail® at Rock 'N' Air in East Rutherford, NJ, is the longest Sky Rail® we've built. We had a chance to catch-up with the team at Rock 'N' Air last week at the Tri-State Camp Conference in Atlantic City. Sky Rail® is our modern take on the classic cable-based zipline. It integrates seamlessly into a Sky Trail® course and gives guests that same sensation of gliding through the air. Guests can move from the Sky Trail® ropes course to the Sky Rail® without any additional equipment or staff support.

We had the chance to visit and catch up with our friends at Nick's Mini Golf in Ocean City, MD, last week! Ocean City is in the eve of its busy season, which unofficially kicks off with St. Patrick's Day celebrations this weekend. While we weren't greeted with warm beach-going weather, it was great to see Nick's 9 different locations all located on or right off the Coastal Highway in Delaware and Maryland. We installed Nick's two-level Sky Trail course just over a year ago and we were thrilled to hear things are going great. Our installation team finished up a new course for Mystic Aquarium this week! Check out this time lapse video of the team at work.
