This Saturday, on Veterans Appreciation Night, we will be honoring Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Kyle Anderson. Lt. Col. Anderson lost his life on August 5, 2024 after being struck by a drunk driver in Castle Rock, CO near Buckley Space Force Base. Anderson, who went by the callsign "Macho," was a Rapid City native, a graduate from Rapid City Stevens High School and South Dakota State University, and distinguished member of the U.S. Air Force. 📰: https://lnkd.in/gWURiGcd

The Rapid City Rush is a proud member of the ECHL. Playing its inaugural season in the 2008-09 CHL campaign, the Rush is gearing up to celebrate its 17th season of hockey in the Black Hills! In the last decade, the team has accomplished so much, including capturing the 2010 CHL Championship in just the second year of existence, and welcoming their One-Millionth Fan through the doors of Rushmore Plaza Civic Center during the 2013-14 CHL season! The Rush is located in Rapid City, South Dakota, and play in the 5,119 seat The Monument Ice Arena.
