Earlier this year, the RDO team in Fergus Falls, MN, celebrated the grand reopening of the store after the completion of an expansion and remodel project. "An area of focus for our expansion was the service side of the business," said Daryl Shelton, RDO’s executive vice president of agriculture. "In addition to improving the space, we were also able to add three service technicians and an additional service manager to help get machines in and out of the shop and back into the field as quickly and effectively as possible." With one quick call to the RDO Solutions Center, a field technician was on the road, ready to help manage maintenance and prevent downtime. When one of our remote support technology specialists connected to the operator’s machine, they noticed connectivity issues and knew an in-person check for any visible problems with its sensors or connections was needed. In the end, by partnering with RDO’s Solutions Center and the operator’s attention to detail and willingness to ask questions, he was able to prevent unnecessary downtime and expensive rework.
