Today is World Patient Safety Day! This reflects exactly one of the things we at React19 fight for. Patients deserve quality care whether their illness disrupts a narrative or not. React19 and our partners around the world will continue to advocate for this change until this happens. 

Reminder, the injured are still here and still waiting for justice. People like Cody Flint, a pilot who experienced severe health issues post-vaccine, and Michelle Zimmerman, who now suffers from brain damage, have struggled to get help. New research by Gladstone Institutes and UCSF neuroimmunologist,  Dr. Katerina Akassoglou, connects spike proteins can contribute to symptoms of Long COVID. These spike proteins from the virus can linger in the body, causing inflammation and blood clots which are associated with Long COVID. As many injured are suffering from Long COVID, this gives insight into how to improve treatments for these chronic conditions. Despite his 1000 page submission and so many injured left with no compensation, the government's Covid-19 Vaccine Claims Scheme is set to end soon Chris's story highlights the urgent need for reform and continued assistance for those affected by vaccine injuries. New HRSA data showed an unexpected $370,376 award for a myocarditis after the shot. This raises questions about whether this involved a death benefit, which has happened with past vaccines. There is now an FOIA request filed to uncover more details about this case. Transparency is crucial and the injured and everyone else deserve to know where these funds are going.
