Our team kicked off this year with a virtual company-wide social like no other! We had the chance to hear firsthand stories and gain invaluable wisdom from the Canadian Olympian Micha Powell! 🇨🇦 Micha led us through two activities, each designed to enhance mental and physical strength. There are a ton of resources on their Open Resource Library and Adam frequently shares handbooks that are open source from other companies globally. - Learning & Development: if you are a small HR team, you know how big of a mammoth overseeing L&D can be. For me, partnering with Elevate Leadership made a world of difference. I promise they do not pay me to say this but the content that Lindsey Nehls and Lucy Georgiades have created and their client-first approach to partnering is unparalleled. I did a lot of research before choosing them as my L&D partner and I'd 100% recommend. - International Recruitment: If international recruitment is a part of your plan for 2024, I'd suggest reaching out to VanHack (connect with Meghan Watchorn 🚀 🌎 as a starting point), Hire With Near (I suggest connecting with Franco Pereyra as a starting point), and Webstarted (I suggest connecting with Rocío Azparren) are all great ways to look for talent abroad. - Unique social ideas: Jessie Niles, MMA has built one of my favourite offerings with Ready in Five Inc. inc, where you can book different Olympic Athletes to come join your company-wide meetings or build custom sessions togther. Our entire team has loved it and we are working on something very cool with them for 2024. - Offsite planning: if you are looking to bring your team together, definitely check out Retreat. Jack Tadami and Shun Yamada have done an amazing job at building an easy-to-use service that saves you time, money and the logistical headache of bringing teams together. - Employee benefits: McFadden Benefits, Pension & Wellness are the type of partner that will get to know you and your business before working with you.
