I'll be sharing the stage with some brilliant minds: Gemma Galdon-Clavell, Founder & CEO at Eticas.ai Xavier Anguera, Co-founder & CTO at ELSA Together, we'll explore how ethics, AI, and education intersect with society. Looking forward to this important conversation! #AI #Ethics #ArtificialIntelligence #AIethics #ReadyAI #AIeducation #FutureOfAI #VirtueAndTheVirtual

🚀 Highlights from the LEARN Conference in Riyadh! 🚀 At the LEARN Conference in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Roozbeh Aliabadi, CEO of ReadyAI, shared powerful insights on AI’s impact on education. Here are some key takeaways: 🌟 What Does It Mean to Be Human in the Age of AI? It’s not just about technology—it’s about how we maintain human connections like empathy, mentorship, and inspiration in the classroom. 👩🏫 A Thought Experiment: We forget content, but we remember our favorite teachers. It’s these relationships that truly matter in education. 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia Leading in AI: With Vision 2030, the Kingdom is making big strides in AI education with innovative approaches in schools across Riyadh and NEOM. ⏩ Keeping Up with AI: As AI evolves fast, educators should focus on what’s timeless—human connection—to keep teaching meaningful. 💡 Takeaway: No matter how advanced AI gets, teaching will always be about human relationships. https://lnkd.in/dEFSQnJK #AIinEducation #LEARNConference #Riyadh #FutureOfLearning #Vision2030 #DrRoozbehAliabadi #ReadyAI #HumanConnection #EdTech

What makes us human in the age of AI? One word: Love. As I reflect on the future of AI, the advice I give myself is to remember what makes us human today. What I hope the next generation of AI leaders takes away from this is simple: remember what we’re good at and what can’t be replicated—yet. And that’s love. Yes, you heard me right. Love. L-O-V-E. Love for what we do. Love for each other. Love for collaboration. Love for learning, relearning, and unlearning. This is my advice to me and to the next generation of AI leaders. If we hold on to that love, guided by a strong moral compass, we won’t just create new technologies—we’ll build with purpose, thoughtfulness, and meaning. So whatever you’re doing, take a moment, close your eyes, and think about love. Because it’s complex, messy, and full of ups and downs. But that’s what makes us human. And that’s the message I want to share with the future AI leaders of tomorrow. #AILeadership #FutureOfAI #LoveInAI #HumanityAndTechnology #MoralCompass

To the #teachers and #parents out there: Stop striving to be perfect. In a world where AI is reshaping education, my message to teachers is simple: Don’t aim to be a perfect teacher—just focus on being a good teacher. What does that mean? It’s about fostering a love for learning and curiosity in your students. The rest—personalization, individualized learning—can be handled by AI tools like #ChatGPT, and Large Language Models. For the parents: I have a different message. Don’t focus on spending quality time with your kids. You heard me right. Instead, spend trash time with them. Bake cookies, have pillow fights, play silly games. That’s what makes us human. The future of education will be enhanced by AI, but our humanity is rooted in the small moments we create together. #AIinEducation #Teachers #Parenting #ArtificialIntelligence #FutureOfLearning

Last month I had the opportunity to present my team's research at the Artificial Intelligence in Education Technology (AIET) 2024 Conference, held at the University of Barcelona, Spain, from July 29-31, 2024. During the conference, I presented our paper titled "AI for Acclimation: Assisting Displaced Students in Refugee Facilities through Activity-Driven Lessons." Our research explores how AI can be harnessed to develop tailored, activity-based educational experiences that support displaced students in refugee facilities, helping them adapt more effectively to their new learning environments. A big thank you to all the organizers, speakers, and participants for making AIET 2024 such an enriching experience. Thank you Roozbeh Aliabadi, Ph.D., Shuhan Li, Eryka Wilson, and the entire ReadyAI team for all your support. I'm looking forward to applying the insights and connections gained from this event to further my research. You can learn more about our research and read our paper here: www.readyai.org/belong-ai/ #AIET2024 #AIEducation #EdTech #RefugeeEducation #AIResearch

While it’s true that some people may use AI for harmful purposes, most individuals are well-intentioned. They will use it to learn, innovate, and make significant advancements, like medical breakthroughs. AI’s most outstanding achievement may be reminding us of our humanity by highlighting its limitations. It will encourage us to focus on the activities that make us uniquely human: caring for one another, collaborating effectively, reading deeply, exploring boldly, growing spiritually, finding kindred spirits, and enjoying life. Despite AI’s transformative impact, I genuinely believe the enduring power of human emotions and imagination remains a fundamental and unchanging truth. #AI #education #future https://lnkd.in/drnSfkGJ
