Anne Lapkin (former Gartner analyst) has some interesting advice - For students and new users, Anne suggests focusing on data quality and understanding how to ask intelligent questions of the data. "Most tools today are fairly intuitive and don't require learning a completely new language," she said. Exposure to various tools is beneficial, as it helps in developing a broad understanding of data analytics. I can’t believe LinkedIn made this change to their job postings 👀 I posted last year about a job for a data analyst that had been live for 2 weeks and had 3,961 applicants. I knew that because LinkedIn used to state the number of applicants on the post. But now they’ve removed that feature for non-premium users and swapped it for “over 100 applicants.” So if you’ve applied to 50+ jobs that you KNOW you’re qualified for… but still crickets, a few things might be happening.
