Did you know that we work directly with our moderators to help us evolve all areas of our platform? Here are a few programs that enable us to maintain collaboration and open dialogue with our most engaged users: 1. Reddit Mod Council - Mods work with Reddit admins to beta-test tools, provide feedback on new features, join exclusive AMAs with execs (our CEO is a recurring guest!), and participate in focus groups to shape the platform’s future. 2. Reddit Partner Communities - Connects mods of large, highly active communities with admins for specialized support, offering exclusive resources, early access to new tools, weekly calls, and expedited assistance to help their community thrive. 3. Adopt-an-Admin - Pairs Reddit admins with mod teams for a three-week immersive experience, empowering admins to understand moderation challenges firsthand, strengthen relationships, and improve tools and support for all mods.

Nick Singer, Global Program Lead for Community Product, is no stranger to Reddit's company value "Evolve." In fact, he's a shining example of what happens when you empower employees to transfer teams and pivot their careers within Reddit. "My journey at Reddit started on the Communications team, where I led and supported our ads and product communications for over three years. I then transitioned to the International team for a year to support international growth and marketing. That experience led me to where I am now: Consumer Product Marketing, driving the go-to-market plans for incredible features like Reddit's Developer Platform. All these valuable experiences have made me a more complete communicator, marketer, and Snoo."

Earlier this month, our LA Snoos organized to support the Collins & Katz Family YMCA's wildfire relief efforts. Together, they collected and delivered donations from our LA office, unloaded donor cars, sorted supplies so affected families could easily shop for their needs, and used their fluency in other languages to assist non-English speaking families with their shopping. Next month, WalkGood LA will join us to delve into the unique Black history of Los Angeles and, specifically, Altadena, a historically-Black community that was devastated by the wildfires. We'll discuss their ongoing efforts to support recovery for those impacted by the fires and have a broader discussion about community wellness. We continue to celebrate the spirit of resilience, connection, and healing that continues to uplift Angelenos (and all of us!) even in the most trying times. Thank you to our Snoos for showing up and making a difference in the community. 🫶

r/work hosts 166K redditors and acts as a virtual meeting room to engage in important discussions about workplace experiences (and because you're not talking to coworkers, no issue is off-limits). This particular topic seemed to resonate as it quickly rose to be the community's top post of the year in just under a week. https://lnkd.in/gBggfRHe via r/work

Pull off an epic hackathon with less than two weeks' notice? Sure, why not! This Saturday, our San Francisco office hosted the NEBULA:FOG:PRIME Hackathon, bringing together ~75 participants for a full day of innovation, learning, and collaboration at the intersection of AI and security. One standout moment was a minor who wowed the room with their description of their project and how they overcame technical challenges—a performance that would make even a seasoned keynote speaker proud. We saw many applications of AI Agents being used to analyze a company's security posture, explore data dumps acquired from breaches, and examine relationships between cloud resources. These were just some of the projects completed in a few short hours—imagine what could be accomplished with more time. Thank you to our event organizers (Fredrick Lee, Melissa A., Lisa L., Tony Soto, and Nathan Handler) and everyone who attended.
