WHEN IT RAINS, IT POURS! Everyone I know has experienced some version of this in #life, #business, #finances, and everything in-between. For most, this “storm” is a major stressor that has a profound impact on every aspect of life.  It can affect relationships, work performance, health, and of course, family life. The difference between the “storm” taking you, or you taking the storm is choosing how you deal with and respond to the situation. If there is one thing the military teaches well, it is dealing with an inordinate amount of “storm.” Early on in most military training programs, we are given TOO MUCH to accomplish, then stressors (noise, more tasks, etc), then expected to accomplish a mission. Things I still do to this day to deal with the “storm”:  TAKE A DEEP BREATH, look at the whole picture, prioritize tasks, then accomplish each little task to get closer to accomplishing the mission. Oh, and ASK OTHERS for help, nobody gets there alone! “Fate whispers to the warrior, you cannot withstand the storm. The warrior whispers back, I AM THE STORM.” LETS GO! Redeployment

🏌️♂️ A Great Day on the Course! 🏌️♂️ This past Thursday, I had the pleasure of attending the ISPE San Diego Chapter Golf Tournament, thanks to Terry Stelter from Mazzetti for the invitation. Mazzetti, is an engineering firm specializing in designing sustainable and high-performing healthcare and mission-critical facilities, focusing on innovative and environmentally responsible solutions. It was great meeting and playing alongside Jasmine Burch and Chris Durbin. We had a fantastic time, and I really enjoyed getting to know them both. Networking, representing Redeployment, and enjoying a beautiful day of golf—it doesn’t get much better than that! Looking forward to more opportunities like this.
