A small posse of Redpointers participated in the HSMAI New York City GM panel last week and amidst all the trends and predictions, two nuggets of commentary stood out: 💰 Every point increase in guest satisfaction means an 11% increase in revenue. 🤯 ❤️ In this industry, it’s absolutely critical to take care of the people who are taking care of your guests. Two things we love about our new client Hotel Ursa: -Its name is a nod to the constellations Ursa Major and Minor, as well as the North Star that links them. The hotel even has an onsite bistro café called MajorMinor, another nod to the stars. -The hotel was refurbished from what were originally two historic buildings on the University of Maine (UMaine) campus in Orono where it is located. We’re SO excited to be handling their PR program and can’t wait to tell the media all about it.
