What a great time we had with our wonderful Red Team Coaches in Vermont! I am sure I learned as much from them as they did from me!! Zoom is great, but in person is better!!! #redteamthinking #redteamcoaching
We are the world's leading provider of decision support red teaming for business. In fact, our president literally wrote the book on red teaming. Powered by a cadre of military-trained red team leaders and business strategists, we help companies of all sizes stress-test their strategies, strengthen their plans, uncover hidden threats and discover missed opportunities. By showing our clients how to think differently about their businesses, we help them become disruptors in their industries, rather than one of the disrupted. And we can do the same for your business. In addition to our consulting and Red Team training services we now also offer a Strategy Bootcamp. This five day intensive training gives managers the tools to better understand the challenges and opportunities in front of them and devise effective strategies to face them. DAY 1: IDEATION The first day of the Red Team Thinking™ Strategy Bootcamp will give your team a powerful set of tools for understanding problems, getting to the root causes, mitigating groupthink, overcoming cognitive bias and surfacing the best ideas from within your organization. DAY 2: STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT Day Two is all about strategy. Your team will learn a clear, step-by-step process for building an effective strategy, as well as the ingredients required for successful implementation — based on the same system used by the military to plan global operations. DAYS 3 & 4: STRESS-TESTING In this two-day module, your team will learn how our cognitive biases and blind spots cloud our decision making and will gain powerful red teaming tools they can use to overcome them. DAYS 5: EXECUTION, The final day will provide your team with a proven process for executing and implementing game-changing strategies. Based on the system developed by Alan Mulally — the legendary CEO who saved both Boeing and Ford from the brink of bankruptcy — this approach will help your team drive accountability, foster collaboration and achieve their goals.

Recently I was told I post about too many ‘negative’ topics … Posts about things that aren’t inspiring, positive or uplifting. In other words, posts about our current reality and how humans are coping. Modern complexity. The challenges we face with access to too much information and too little knowledge and wisdom. … even using the word ‘wicked’ to explain some of them. I don’t think I need to list them all here – if you’re reading this post you’re at least aware of some of them, if not all of them. I’m not aware of all of them either – I don’t think any human brain can hold them all in mind anymore (there I go, being honest/negative again …) One of the reasons I started writing on [another] platform is because it encourages long form writing - I wanted to do a deep dive into topics that we can’t shy away from. Topics that are difficult to digest but which critical thinkers are likely to be curious about. => So, should I just write about them there and save LinkedIn posts for ‘sunny, positive’ posts? => Which has also been called ‘toxic positivity.’ => Or should we face our challenges bravely, and address them directly, and discuss them here too? Maybe as an ex-psychologist I’m too used to getting to the bottom of my client’s challenges so we can work towards solutions. Versus slowly meandering towards them while they continue to struggle. Very much looking forward to your comments. And if you want to read more in depth about the issues I'm diving into please see the 🔗 in comments. #neuroscience #leadership #mentalhealth

Another great piece by Seth Godin on social media's responsibility for our cultural crisis. Here's the money line: "Instead of the ship adding ballast to ensure a smooth journey, the crew is working hard to make the journey as rocky as possible." #criticalthinking #redteamthinking

This is the height of absurdity. Apparently federal law prohibits the U.S. military from shooting down drones over its bases – including some of the most sensitive installations like those around Norfolk, VA. 🤦🏻 https://lnkd.in/gcC6qwva

Helping Healthcare Leaders and Managers thrive with clear thinking, emotional intelligence, and a human-centred approach to leadership for real, lasting change.
💡 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 Lord Darzi’s recent investigation shows us the reality of a broken NHS. What’s clear is that we can’t solve this crisis with the same thinking that got us here. NHS leadership must embrace a new approach that puts innovation and people at the heart of reform. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐞𝐲. ✅ First, re-engage demoralised, passionate, but overworked staff. They need a voice and role in shaping the system they care about, not just directives from above. ✅ Leadership must also shift resources away from the crisis-heavy, hospital-centric model and focus more on community care, prevention, and primary care services to keep people out of hospitals in the first place. ✅ Integrating social care into the system is essential. Without it, hospital beds stay full, and patient flow slows down. ✅ In parallel, we need a bold embrace of technology and digital transformation—fully digital patient records and telemedicine are crucial to a future where we get ahead of problems, not just react to them. ✅ Now is the time to empower healthcare workers, rebalance funding, and create long-term, sustainable changes. The NHS has strong vital signs, but the path forward requires new thinking, a clear vision, and leadership with the courage to make fundamental changes. It’s time to stop managing the crisis and start leading with a bold purpose. 𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐱 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 It’s time to stop treating symptoms and start curing the root cause. The NHS doesn’t need more band-aids—it needs empowered leaders and re-engaged staff. What if you, as a healthcare leader, could drive that change? What if your thinking evolved to truly inspire transformation within your team and system? At Leadership Management International (LMI) UK, we don’t just develop leaders—we help them rethink, reimagine, and reshape their organisations. Our proven leadership development process will give you the tools to survive the storm and guide your team through it confidently and clearly. Together, we’ll ignite the shift from managing crises to creating solutions, helping you build the future of healthcare. At Red Team Thinking®, we equip healthcare leaders with critical decision-making tools to challenge assumptions, identify blind spots, and foster innovative strategies, driving the transformative change needed to empower staff and reshape the NHS. Are you curious? Let’s explore how we can help you drive lasting change. You owe it to your team, your patients, and yourself. The time to lead is now. #HealthcareLeadership #EmpowerNHS #InnovateToElevate #LMIUK #ShiftYourThinking #NHS
