This was a week of ups and downs for Reedy River Retail at SVN Blackstream, which is pretty much the norm in commercial real estate. Some highlights and lowlights: ✅ Stephan Thomas signed his first lease since recently joining the team, a ten year restaurant lease in Taylors 🙌🏼 ✅ Our new admin assistant and in house marketing specialist, Angie Looney started full time in the office. Her skillset will allow us to focus on winning new business and pushing best in class marketing to the CRE community ✅ Our team submitted multiple LOIs on various leasing and investment opportunities and moved several deals from LOI to lease/contract ❌ We made the difficult decision to hand a listing back to the client after weeks of frustrating communication and disagreement on pricing ❌ We had a contract terminated on one of our land development listings ❌ I found out that I lost the chance to list a property I’ve had my eye on for several years. I kept in constant communication with the seller and submitted a top notch proposal, but he went with a local agent he had previously worked with instead. One of the things I love about CRE is how each week is different from the last. There are ups and downs and twists and turns, but if you can roll with the punches, you can learn to love the ride!
