He notes in his post that UBER’s value proposition isn’t about transportation – it’s about time and convenience. This got her thinking about how some of the best companies understand that time and convenience mean more to consumers than any one product, and how @ReferenceMedicine can apply this same principle, which she is calling the #UberEffect, to #oncology specimen procurement. What a ride! I founded Reference Medicine just over three years ago with a mission to take a fresh look at the way the industry procures oncology specimens. Founding a company – right in the middle of COVID, no less – is one of the best, hardest things I’ve ever done.  As the mom of two daughters, it is so fulfilling to demonstrate to them that if we put our minds to it, we can do anything.
