RefuahHealth is excited to announce the opening of our new Acute Care program location at Twin Avenue, strengthening our commitment to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare to our community. Building on the remarkable success of our original site at 728 N. Main, our program has served over 25,000 patients since 2022, with patient volume doubling during peak times, particularly in flu season. Importantly, we've cut average wait times in half to ensure faster and more efficient service. The Twin Avenue location, launched on September 2, is staffed by experienced providers and nurses, continuing our standard of care in a welcoming, community-focused environment. It enhances convenience with extended hours, allowing families to receive timely, walk-in care—all crucial for avoiding unnecessary Emergency Room visits. Our Acute Care program not only offers same-day services but also facilitates integrated follow-up care within our larger network. In 2023, over 50 Refuah providers collaborated within Acute Care, demonstrating our commitment to continuity of care. Unlike typical urgent care centers, we allow for a seamless transition to further care directly with our providers.   As we look ahead, the opening of Twin Avenue Acute Care marks a significant milestone in our journey to deliver quality, accessible healthcare. Voices of Refuah: Read the firsthand feedback on how our new Infusion Center brings vital Oncology and Chemotherapy care closer to home. “I am writing to express my deep gratitude for the care our mother has received at your facility. Our mother has been struggling with her health for the past few years, and despite the difficult treatments, we knew it was necessary to pursue the best care. One of the biggest challenges was the travel. Traveling has never been easy for her, and frequent trips to the Bronx were already difficult. When her care was moved to Brooklyn, the journey became nearly impossible, with each trip taking over five hours. As her children, we did everything we could to make things easier, taking turns accompanying her to ensure she was as comfortable as possible, but it was still incredibly hard for her. Having her treatment now in such a beautiful, well-setup center so close to home is an enormous relief. It saves her time and effort, making the treatment much more tolerable. I am certain that many other patients and their families are equally grateful. Helping people through such difficult times is an incredible act of kindness.
