Are you ready to talk about sustainability lending with Community First Fund? Join us tomorrow 10/31 at Southern Market Lancaster at 7:45am! This month's Carbon Neutral Coffee will focus on CCF's new green lending program, designed to provide access to capital for businesses to support their sustainability efforts, and to consumers seeking to weatherize their homes and increase energy efficiency and savings. In addition to sharing financing opportunities, speakers Lydia Walker and Claudia Harrison will include a conversation about what the needs are in our community so CCF can be responsive to those needs and tailor products and services to truly benefit our neighbors, especially those who face challenges accessing capital. Community First Fund is a Lancaster-based CDFI and credit union with a mission to create financial equity through wealth building opportunities for individuals, families, and business owners, especially Persons of Color, women, and immigrants. It’s that time of the year again: As the temperature cools, the green summer leaves of deciduous trees begin to change color and fall. The constant mowing of the summer months gives way to the constant raking of the fall, and it’s hard to be satisfied with a job well done when we’re finally starting to reckon with the ecological impact of yard maintenance.
