As the first hospital in Tennessee to offer the state-of-the-art focused ultrasound procedure, Regional One Health has established itself as a leader in providing hope and healing for patients with hand tremors due to essential tremor. Last week, we celebrated our 200th focused ultrasound at our East Campus, 6555 Quince Road. We are proud of our work to help adults with essential tremor regain their independence and ability to do favorite activities, and we look forward to continuing to make this life-changing procedure accessible to patients throughout the Mid-South! https://lnkd.in/eRFnqZF8

Congratulations to Reagan Graham and Angel Parker-Heffner, Regional One Health’s latest winners of a DAISY Award for nursing excellence! Reagan, an oncology nurse, was nominated by a patient who was diagnosed with liver cancer just three weeks into retirement from her own nursing career: “She went the extra mile and gave me inspiration to live and persevere,” the patient said, noting Reagan not only cared for her medical needs, but helped alleviate the fear she and her family were experiencing. Angel, who serves as nursing director, was nominated by an employee for the compassion and hands-on leadership she provides the oncology unit: “She is simply amazing and promotes what health care is all about – compassion, healing and taking care of others,” the nominator said. Thank you to Reagan and Angel for everything you do to provide our patients with lifesaving, life-changing care!
