Regional One Health is a healthcare system providing accessible, efficient, quality healthcare for individuals in the Mid-South. Its primary service area includes west Tennessee, east Arkansas and north Mississippi. Regional One Health is home to the nation's most gifted and sought-after medical professionals. We are the Mid-South's finest teaching hospital where over half of all medical professionals in Tennessee have completed at least part of their training. We have become a recognized leader in medical education through our affiliation with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center at Memphis. The health system provides inpatient and surgical care along with Centers of Excellence including trauma, burn, neonatal intensive care and high-risk obstetrics at Regional Medical Center. UTROP is the largest physician and advanced practitioner group caring for patients at the hospital, and over the past 10 years it has grown into a well-respected source of exceptional patient care, education for new physicians, and groundbreaking research.     Regional One Health Senior Vice President & Chief Integration Officer Susan Cooper, MSN, RN, FAAN has been in Geneva, Switzerland this week for the Global Nursing Leadership Institute. The whirlwind week included mock presentations of regional projects by Cooper and her fellow GNLI scholars, a visit to the World Health Organization headquarters, powerful panel discussions and much more. The prestigious GNLI program gives participants the opportunity to discuss global and regional health care policy and empowers nurses to play a key role in improving global health. As the only U.S. nursing leader selected to this year’s class, Cooper will bring back a wealth of knowledge and insight to our team at Regional One Health!
