Regional One Health Senior Vice President & Chief Integration Officer Susan Cooper, MSN, RN, FAAN has been in Geneva, Switzerland this week for the Global Nursing Leadership Institute. The whirlwind week included mock presentations of regional projects by Cooper and her fellow GNLI scholars, a visit to the World Health Organization headquarters, powerful panel discussions and much more. The prestigious GNLI program gives participants the opportunity to discuss global and regional health care policy and empowers nurses to play a key role in improving global health. As the only U.S. nursing leader selected to this year’s class, Cooper will bring back a wealth of knowledge and insight to our team at Regional One Health!

Congratulations! Regional One Health Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer Imad Abdullah was recently inducted as the new chairman of the Tennessee Bar Association Health Law Section. We are grateful for Imad’s leadership and expertise at the state level and here at Regional One Health!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Dr. Ashley Hendrix, breast surgical oncologist with Regional One Health Cancer Care, is getting the word out about managing risk factors and taking advantage of screening.
