October 8 - Blizzard Warning. Ok, there is a cold front moving through, but this is not that. Nick Blizzard is going to turn up the heat on Test Driven Development at the Software Craftsmanship peer group meeting Tuesday evening. We've been on both sides of tests, and we've learned we'd rather write them than take them. Come learn how to write tests for your requirements that lead to better code. This free event is open to all current or aspiring software developers, and those who are curious to learn more about the field. We may or may not be planning to experiment with a new trivia platform for a little fun, so brush up on your dev skills, people! It's gonna be a blast. RSVP at: https://lnkd.in/eKXdfyVg Wait, did someone say "trivia"? Yeah, they did.

Thanks Brian Moyer of The Innovation Studio for sharing at the Kentucky Center for Leadership’s Next-Level Leadership Summit today in Bowling Green. Your insights on the role of Industrial AI in Industry 4.0 were valuable, as well as your wisdom on economic development and preparing disruption. Our local business leaders left with a better understanding of how to leverage AI and how to dispel the hype.

Iron Sharpens Iron. When a couple dozen cybersecurity experts representing most of our sectors come together from 5 counties on a late afternoon to share case studies, discuss best practices, and think critically about how best to protect our region's organizations and citizens against cyber threats, we call that "Thursday". No egos. No judgment. Simply Community, Education, Collaboration, and a little bit of fun! Thank you to everyone who came and everyone who shared. There are some great topics planned for the remaining meetings this year. We appreciate our Cybersecurity Peer Group leaders Aaron Owens and Harry Erskine for your leadership, and Jacob Crain for sharing your wisdom with the group tonight.
