501C3 committed to raising awareness & funds for programs that benefit abused, abandoned & orphaned children in Kenya.
About us
We are a 501c3 nonprofit in the United States. We rescue abused & orphaned children in Kenya and help them reach their God-given potential so they can carry the light of Christ into the next generation. Rehema for Kids was launched in 2006 by two couples that God brought together. They discovered a shared heart and passion for the children of Kenya. Co-Founders Jeff & Carla Picicci and Ron & Joyce Panzero chose to step out in faith and live out their shared motto of “No Regrets!” Our first baby was found abandoned in a cornfield in Kenya on a cold, rainy day in July of 2006. Jeff and Carla named her Rehema Grace. Rehema means Mercy in Swahili. On that day, Rehema for Kids was born to support our In Step Foundation’s Children’s Home and Academy. In Step Foundation (ISF) is registered as a company under the Kenyan Companies Act. This registration allows the organization to officially operate as a licensed children’s home that provides care for the children. Today, more than 200 children at ISF are blessed to have "Baba Jeff" and "Mama Carla" at the helm! The Piciccis work closely with the Rehema for Kids leadership to help ensure the current and future needs of the children are met.

Happy Friday, friends! Hoping this #flashbackfriday makes you smile. Have a wonderful weekend!

Good morning, friends! Nick & Amos will soon be attending a Bible camp. To help earn a little pocket money for their trip, they did additional chores for missionaries Dean & Tammie Myslivecek, helping with some spider control and weeding at our missionary quarters. We are so excited for these young men!

Good morning, friends! We have to give you a little context on today's #ThrowbackThursday! We try to be fair to all of our supporters, but we're celebrating #SeattleMariners #openingday today. You may not know, despite Mama Carla may be 8,805 miles (or 14,170 kilometers) away she is a huge Mariners fan and she listens to or watches nearly all the games! Cheers to baseball! Make it a great day!
